First of all, Sue and I would like to express our sincere appreciation for you showing up to see what these crazy realtors are on about.
Here it is.
It's been quite a time over the last few years. Most of us have had to adjust our lives considerably. The name of this blog of course is in reference to how many of us work from home now and reach out to clients and colleagues virtually. So, we're all dressed up where the world can see us, but pj bottoms and sweats are often the story from the waist down!
The Real Estate world has been in flux as well. Shortly after the initial Covid 19 lockdown the market, to say the least, went a little nuts. For Sellers it's been an outstanding period of previously only dreamed about prices. For Buyer's it's been much trickier. Often (most often), a Buyer's offer was one of several and to be competitive, Buyers' had to adopt strategies to "win".
In any case, here we are, January 2022. Our crystal ball is a bit cracked and foggy but we do strongly suspect that this year will see prices hold and inventory increase.
Bottom line, our pantless followers, the Covid pandemic will end and hopefully become a virus, much like the common flu, to be managed by annual vaccinations.
